Sals Stars of the Week: Zynu Anchan (introduced by Kelly Lewington)
Today’s Sal’s Star of the Week is Zynu Anchan, going above and beyond for both patients and peers.
Zynu Anchan is a Senior Cardiology Technologist in the Cardiac Sciences Program. She has been a Cardiology Technologist in our program for 20 years. Zynu has always been known for her quiet demeanor, optimism and general caring nature, along with her consistent ability to provide excellent care to the patients of SBH.
Most recently on the August long weekend, the EKG department faced unexpected staffing shortages for 2 of the days. Instead of mandating staff, Zynu, herself, offered to work the shifts. Despite working the holiday weekend, she was here bright and early Tuesday, ready to start another week with her smiles and welcoming manner. Zynu puts forth 100% effort in her career and is always looking out for her team members. I can personally attest to that. She is often bringing me treats if she knows I have missed lunch!
