Sals Stars of the Week: Jennifer Bell (introduced by Megan O’Brien)

It’s always a difficult choice to single someone out because there are many deserving staff.  It is my great pleasure to introduce this week’s Sals Star Jennifer Bell. Jennifer started working in SBH in July 2008 in the Clinical Support Resource Team and made her home in Y2 Cardiac Specialty Care in April 2018.

Jennifer is full of energy, quick with a smile and always eager to help in this sometimes trying environment. She often has ideas and makes suggestions on how to improve the processes in Y2 that optimize patient care and experience. Recently she took the initiative to document the Na2 duties as standard work.  She recognized that there could be a better flow by the Na2’s taking on some non-nursing tasks that nurses were doing to free up nurses to do other patient care.

Jennifer has also taken on the role of orienting new staff members to this Standard work.

Please join me in congratulating Jennifer as this week’s Sals Star of the Week.
