The Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic initiative led by Colette Seifer has been selected as one of three winning initiatives for the 2019 Health Innovation Award for Patient-Centered Care within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Congratulations to Colette and the rest of the team!
Representatives from the Cath Lab and ACCU staff attended the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) Measurement and Monitoring of Safety Framework (MMSF) Learning Session 3 in Toronto, Ontario, October 1-2, 2019. Rosanne Labossiere-Gee, Program Team Manager (ACCU) and Steve Klassen, Program Team Manager (Cath Lab) presented their team’s progress on the patient safety initiative during a rapid fire presentation and a learning marketplace. A total of twelve (12) healthcare teams from across Canada are participating in the CPSI MMSF learning collaborative from October 2018 to March 2020. We were very well represented at last month’s Rose Soiree – in support of the CSP at St. Boniface! Special thanks to Rakesh Arora who spoke on behalf of the Program.
