St. Boniface Hospital
Cardiac Science Manitoba, centred at St. Boniface Hospital is responsible for the organization and provision of cardiology, cardiac surgery and cardiac anaesthesia services for patients across Manitoba, as well as Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut. Building on the vision of Cardiac Sciences to strive to ensure “all Manitobans will have access to the best patient-centered cardiac care in Canada”, on a province-wide basis, we have been consistently ranked at the top in the CIHI national ratings for quality of cardiac care, in part reflecting the integration of cardiac services within the entity that is Cardiac Sciences.
The South Entrance of St Boniface Hospital is currently closed due to construction. Access to the Asper Building and Nuclear Imaging is unchanged however to access clinics on Y2 Bergen Cardiac Care Centre, procedures (angiogram, angioplasty, pacemaker implant, implantable cardioverter defibrillator implants, electrophysiology [EP] study, catheter ablation), and echocardiography has changed.
