Sals Star of the Week : Dan Quinn PTM 5A Cardiology and Pacemaker clinic
Dan is being recognized for his transformational work on Green belt projects in order to improve processes and engage staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Most recently his work has been instrumental in identifying barriers in taking senior practicum students on units, including unit culture, absence of standards, and expectations.
He is creating a standard of excellence for the student experience from first contact through to hiring at the site. Managers have been trying to recruit nurses and other staff at St. Boniface for years – Dan and his team’s work on creating standards and improving the student experience will increase our ability to hire staff at the site, and address our chronic problem of staffing resources, and managing vacancies. Congratulations Dan!
