I have worked in cardiology in various roles since beginning my nursing career in 1997. I started in the post–cardiac surgery unit before completing ICU training and working in ICMS, which also cared for CCU patients. I later became the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) on 5A, then transitioned to the cardiac procedures area, working in pre- and post-cardiac procedure care unit as well as pacemaker implantation. I currently serve as the educator for the 5A/6A cardiology units and the pacemaker clinic.
