In The News
This will be a busy week for the CSP- beyond many of you catching up after your return from the CCC in Toronto. The second Visiting Professor seminar for the year is being held Wednesday at 4 pm. Dr. Manos Brilakis, University of Minnesota, will be talking about “Contemporary Treatment of Coronary Chronic Total Occlusions. Look forward to seeing you there. Additionally, the first provincial workshop for Shared Health’s Cardiothoracic and Vascular provincial clinical team will be held Friday. I co-chair the team which includes the CSP leadership. We will report on the progress of this important initiative.
Annual Reviews. On my arrival in Winnipeg my initial plan was to formally meet with all physicians annually to review our progress. I will be continue that plan for all physician assistants/clinical assistants. However, for faculty members of the Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Anaesthesia sections, I will be deferring to the annual evaluations by your section chiefs which I will review with them. On the other hand, I am more than happy to schedule an annual performance conversation (including coffee :-)) with any/all CSP physicians at their request. Let me/Janessa know.
