Sal’s Stars of the Week: Amanda Gale

This week’s Sal’s star is Amanda Gale, RN in Y2: Pre-& Post. Amanda became a Nurse in 2010. Amanda has previously worked in ED, the OR, and ICCS. She joined the Y2 team in 2013 and started in the EP lab in 2015. She became an EP Tech in 2020.
Amanda has a vast knowledge base. She advocates for her patients and colleagues. She is always professional and respectful. She is happy to lend a hand and train new staff. Her resilience, ability to adapt to change, and her dedication are simply outstanding. Amanda was the only permanent staff member in Y2 who was EP tech trained for 6 months. Her dedication to EP was so strong that she did not call in sick (even when she was ill) and planned her vacation around times when casual staff were able to come in to relieve her.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys travelling, playing golf, and spending time with her family.
